What’s in Hazel’s Valentine’s Day Basket?!

When I was young, I couldn’t wait until Valentine’s Day. Why? That’s because my parents would surprise my sister and me every Valentine’s Day with a basket full of yummy treats, toys, and a special love note! I always appreciated that they made us feel extra special by decorating our bedroom doors with hearts, balloons, and even roses. Especially in my 20’s when I wouldn’t always have a Valentine to celebrate the holiday.

This is my 1st Valentine’s Day as a Mom and I am so excited to pass down the tradition. So, for Hazel, I put a few toys, books, stuffed animals, and new pair of shoes in her basket. I made sure to pick age-appropriate toys and books about love. Her basket is full of fun! Let’s just say Hazel really knows how to tug on my heartstrings with her chubby cheeks, big smile, and bright blue eyes! If you have a newborn or almost one year old, the gifts I got for Hazel would be perfect for your little sweetheart.
