Hazel Turns One!

It’s been a whole year since my husband and I were blessed with our first precious baby girl! I’ll never forget the moment she was born. After being in labor for almost 8 hours, my doctor told me one last push and she would be here. I remember pushing as hard as I possibly could to finally meet her. My husband and I still hadn’t decided on a name yet but, we had a few in mind. As soon as we heard her sweet cry at 7:10 am and saw her tiny little body, we looked at each other and both said, Hazel. Today, we celebrate you, Hazel!

Dear Hazel,

You have given me the most important role in my life and that is being your Mother. I never thought something so tiny could fill my heart with so much love and joy. You are the center of my universe and I hope you always feel my love for you. I pray God blesses you beyond measure and guides you every day of your life. May you grow up knowing you are always worthy of being seen, heard, and valued. I promise to love you unconditionally, demonstrate kindness, and help you discover your purpose in life. I hope you light up every room you walk into with your genuine smile and passion for life.
