Our Couples Baby Shower
The day has come to celebrate our soon-to-be baby girl! On Saturday, February 27th my husband and I celebrated a couples baby shower with our amazing family and friends. Due to Covid, we decided to have two options to attend. Our guests could choose to drive-by for the first half of the shower or join us for a socially distanced outdoor brunch. We wanted everyone to feel comfortable and most importantly remain safe!
It was a perfect sunny day with not a cloud in the sky. I had my beautiful friend of many years Taylor Heine known as Haus of Heine on IG host my shower. From the pastel balloon garland backdrop to the romantic flowers set on each table, Taylor did an exquisite job decorating and making my shower beautiful. I was overwhelmed with gratitude for how much effort and attention to detail she put into this special event. We hired an amazing catering company, Canyon Catering to provide the brunch. On the menu was the most delicious omelet bar paired with country-style breakfast potatoes and muffins. Every guest was raving about the omelet bar. Fun Fact: breakfast is my favorite meal :) I also hired You Are Loved Organic Bakery to provide vegan cinnamon rolls that were a hit! If you are in the Orange County area, look them up on IG: youarelovedorganicbakery and DM them for orders. Refreshment choices were lemon water, ice tea, coffee, and you can’t forget the mimosas! We also hired a musician for live music for our guests to enjoy. Lastly, as a party favor, we made my Mother’s famous homemade chocolate chip cookies packaged with pink ribbon and a thank you tag. If I could describe my shower in one word it would be PERFECT!
